Happened September 2017 after I had hired a europcar for 2 weeks. Received parking ticket in Wales of which I was unaware until europcar sent me the ticket and an invoice for an administrative charge of 40 pounds.

I paid the ticket directly to the issuing authority and then noticed that europcar had charged my credit card twice 40 pounds on the same date so I was charged 80 pounds.

I disputed the charge through my credit card company and Europcar refused to take away one of the charges. I have had to spend another 15 dollars to fax the credit card company my objection to my paying twice for this.

Product or Service Mentioned: Europcar Car Rental.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $65.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I didn't like: Overcharging.
