Avoid these sharks and read their terms and conditions very carefully before you sign anything. Got stiffed for 80 admin on a 25 car hire for not understanding the dartford crossing toll booths (being from the north west where we have toll booths ie M6 Humber Mersey Forth).

Queried with Europcar who said "dont worry - always happens with Dartford. Just get a proof of payment from them and we'll sort it. Duly got letter from Dartford but Europcar then change their story to "No you have to pay us!" Now having to go through a tedious appeal with these crooks which I klnow 'will get me nowhere.

Not disputing they have incurred a few minutes passing my detail from date and registration to Dartford but come on - 80 for entering a registratioin and date into a computer???? Will never ever use these crooks again and will make a point of broadcasting this Europcar scam at every opportunity

This is another example of my case which I loaded today 2nd September.

I think that we should inform trading standards as this is simply unacceptable customer service
