I work in Asia and returned home to the U.K. in July to see my daughters.
My daughter hired from Europcar to drive me around while I was home. Actually the car was rarely used over that time and carefully checked upon return. Three weeks later we got a notification of damage to the car and a bill for £400 plus admin fees of £40! We were never given a chance to see any damage or challenge their claim...it's an absolute scam!
This company have been found guilty of corrupt practices in Australia already and the internet is replete with examples of their scams!
We are still contesting this bogus claim. Please help by complaining to Consumer Groups and Trading Standards office if you have similar trouble.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $440.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
